La Source in the world

La Source in the world
Being open to the world is a tradition at La Source

The La Source School of Nursing has been developing globe-trotting nurses for more than 160 years.

Academic and clinical partnerships reinforce the school’s openness to other cultures and to different healthcare models and health behaviours.

Since its inception, La Source has encouraged its students, teachers and collaborators to participate in international activities by welcoming and visiting partners, both European and extra-continental.

Studying abroad

The Office of International Affairs offers different types of mobility opportunities to our students who are tempted to study abroad a while:

  • Practicums
  • Summer University
  • Semester
  • Interprofessional Bachelor’s thesis (IMCO)

Exchange students at La Source

La Source receives exchange students each year in different contexts:

  • Summer University
  • Semester
  • Practicums

Professor and collaborator mobility

La Source encourages mobility among its collaborators. The School also receives delegations from around the world interested in learning about its education system.

The main objective is to remain active on the international stage by entering into new exchange partnerships that will benefit not only students, but also teachers, researchers, technicians and administrative staff.

The HES-SO and the Canton of Vaud’s Department of Higher Education (DGES) support a variety of projects that help develop competent nurses in an international and intercultural context.
