Université d’été en soins infirmiers: deux semaines d’échanges internationaux autour de la prévention et de l’intervention communautaires

L’édition 2026 de l’université d’été (Summer University) en soins infirmiers organisée cette année à La Source, s’est achevée le 10 juillet lors de la cérémonie de clôture réunissant les 29 étudiant·es suisses et internationaux ayant pris part au programme.
Un programme académique centré sur les enjeux de santé communautaire
Pendant deux semaines, les participant·es ont suivi un parcours intensif consacré à la thématique «Community-based Prevention and Intervention». Au programme: séminaires, conférences, travaux de groupe et échanges interdisciplinaires permettant d’explorer différents modèles et pratiques de prévention et d’intervention au sein des communautés.
Les universités d’été, soutenues financièrement par la Direction générale de l’enseignement supérieur du canton de Vaud (DGES), sont des programmes interculturels consacrés aux enjeux contemporains de la santé et des sciences infirmières. Co-construites avec des partenaires académiques internationaux – Boston College University, Hong Kong Polytechnic University, National University of Singapore et PSG College of Nursing – elles favorisent le partage d’expériences, la comparaison des pratiques et l’ouverture à d’autres réalités professionnelles et culturelles.
Au-delà des cours: découvrir le système de santé suisse
Cette édition a également permis aux participant·es de découvrir plusieurs institutions de santé de la région lausannoise, de visiter le siège des Nations Unies à Genève et de parcourir le Lavaux lors d’une excursion. Ces activités ont complété les enseignements académiques en offrant une meilleure compréhension du contexte sanitaire, social et culturel suisse.
L’ensemble des étudiant·es a validé le programme avec succès. Félicitations à toutes et tous pour leur engagement et leur participation active tout au long de ces deux semaines.
La Source remercie chaleureusement les équipes mobilisées ainsi que l’ensemble des partenaires ayant contribué à la réussite de cette édition. Ce programme constitue une opportunité précieuse de renforcer les collaborations internationales et d’accompagner la formation de professionnel·les de la santé capables d’évoluer dans un contexte toujours plus globalisé.
Nursing Summer University 2026: two weeks of international exchanges focusing on community prevention and intervention
The 2026 edition of the Summer University in Nursing, held this year at La Source, came to a close on 10 July with a ceremony attended by the 29 Swiss and international students who took part in the programme.
An academic programme focused on community health issues
Over the course of two weeks, participants undertook an intensive programme dedicated to the theme of «Community-based Prevention and Intervention». The programme included seminars, lectures, group work and interdisciplinary discussions, enabling participants to explore different models and practices of prevention and intervention within communities.
The summer universities (SU), which receive financial support from the Directorate-General for Higher Education of the Canton of Vaud (DGES), are intercultural programmes dedicated to contemporary issues in health and nursing. Developed in collaboration with international academic partners – Boston College, Hong Kong Polytechnic University, the National University of Singapore and PSG College of Nursing – they promote the sharing of experiences, the comparison of practices and an openness to other professional and cultural realities.
Beyond the classroom: discovering the Swiss healthcare system
This edition also gave participants the opportunity to discover several healthcare institutions in the Lausanne region, to visit the United Nations headquarters in Geneva and to explore the Lavaux region. These activities complemented the academic teaching by offering a better understanding of the Swiss health, social and cultural context.
All the students successfully completed the programme. Congratulations to everyone for their commitment and active participation throughout these two weeks.
